The history of candy dates back to the caveman who created the idea of candy by eating honey combs and honey. Candy can be traced back as far as 1500BC to the ancient Egyptians who used honey and made candy by adding figs, nuts, dates and spices.

MARSHMELLO AND CANDY

The first chocolate bar was made in 1847 by Joseph Fry in England. He discovered a way for mixing melted cacao butter, cocoa powder and sugar to create a paste that could be pressed into a mold. MARSHMELLO AND CANDY

It is said that the origin of the candy canes stem back to Cologne, Germany around 1670. In the 1920's Bob McCormack began making candy canes as special Christmas treats. In the 1950's the first candy cane machine was introduced by Gregory Keller that aided in manufacturing and mass producing the candy canes.
